So you are back from summer break… Computer on… All systems go… Or is it?
How do you feel about it? Raring to go? Sick in the stomach? Somewhere in between?
It’s a great time of year to have this reflection:
- What parts of your jobs do you like the most?
- What aspects are you dreading?
- What can you start saying “No” to more?
- What opportunities would you like to be grabbing more often?
- How healthy and productive is your workplace? Where can you see potential improvements to this?
I have the above reflection at the start of every year and find it quite revealing. I was pleasantly surprised to note this time around that I love most aspects of my work, but not all. For example, some admin tasks I realised were best suited to others in our team. Time to delegate more (I seem to say that a lot!). I also realised I need to more effectively switch off from work at the end of the day. This is an ongoing challenge as much of my work is conducted on the run or from a home office.
I felt very excited about the direction of our group in 2019. At PHW Group we have started the year with the exciting addition of Melissa Radcliffe to the directorship team.
Melissa has been a colleague of ours and one of our key Physiotherapy service providers here in Melbourne for many years now and we are delighted to have her step up to her new role with Ryan and myself.
Along with this injection of new energy to our leadership, we have a new website which makes more clear how we can help transform your workplace to a one where health and productivity take a front seat.
We look forward to your feedback on our new website and wish you all a healthy and productive 2019! (Gulp! Is that really the year now???)
